One of those days...
...One of those Days.
It's 12:43AM and I'm still sitting here at my computer...
It's been one of those days. Not a bad day...just a long day.
(If you've also had a long day and no time to read my ramblings you can always skip ahead to the end and checkout what's happening with upcoming workshops, bake shoppe goodies , and other fun merch collections we've been working on.)
But for those of you who have a minute or two...
Lots of great things happened, but I worked hard, including a 5AM workout and I'm seriously pooped.
Took this picture before I tore this wall apart for a "quick" DIY redo this morning.

(That Rose Painting is another original piece of art that was here when this was Patty's Place. I'm going to reframe it and put it somewhere else I think. This chicken wire window screen and some other odds and ends I cleaned out today is going to be be back on our sale table if you're interested)

Jared from Thomasson's Fine Woodworking installed the new custom floating shelves he built for me. (After I added some peel & stick wallpaper!)
Definitely worth the work! (Although to no fault of Jared's, I guessed on the shelf thickness when I gave him dimensions and these feel a bit too bulky for this space. I LOVE THEM, but they're more in line with what you might want for a mantel, so I'm actually going to have him make a second set that will be 2.5 Inches. I think they'll feel lighter and wont overpower the space as much. (Plus I'll get 3 more inches of head room in in between. ) I'll either use this set somewhere else in the shop, or take them home and use them there. Or I might sell them...so keep your eyes peeled if you're interested in that!

Slowly but surely I keep picking little areas in the kitchen to work on here and there to add some more personality to the space and more functionality for our hostesses who use the Gathering Room. NOTE: If you need to use the Gathering Room anytime between now and Christmas, please don't wait. We're filling up fast.

Next Thurs Sept 8 - Sat 10th we're having a super fun Fall Kick-Off Open House and we sure hope you'll join us. (No ticket required for this one!)
